I'm currently up for his motn feeding. He gave 6 hours again. After taking two nice log naps this afternoon/evening I was worried he'd fight sleep but he passed out when we put him to bed.
I'm here, feeding DS. He just slept for 5 hours and I sooo needed that. He hasn't been sleeping good at night (or for naps for that matter) so I've been really exhausted. Of course now he will nurse and be awake for 2 hours, but hey... Expecting more sleep would just be getting greedy!
2nd feeding done and LO is laying on my chest. I would be excited except bedtime the last 2 nights has been cluster feeding between 7 and 10:45 when before that we had been blessed with DS konking out at 8:30 and sleeping until 11 for a feed. I blame a growth spurt.
I'm here! She gave me five whole hours tonight... So thrilled about that! The last two days she has been fighting sleep like no other in the day and evenings.

I'm up with a congested fussy LO who won't go back to sleep. She passes out after eating for about 45 seconds then wakes up wailing and we start all over. DH was up helping but now he's snoring

I'm up and jealous of you mamas getting 5 hours of sleep. DS has yet to sleep longer than 3 hours at a time. I'm hoping he will catch on soon and learn that sleep is a glorious thing.
My LO is cracking me up. We're up for his usual 4:00am feeding and I'm trying to avoid eye contact with him in an effort to keep him from getting too excited so we can go back to sleep but he keeps going out of his way to try to make eye contact with me. I can see his beady little eyes peering at me out of the corner of my eye and I can't help but laugh.
There it is! I was wondering where the night fun is!
My in laws are here. Happy they can meet LO. But the difference in handing a baby is vastly different. My FIL loves my LO but when he cries I have to walk away... He just let's him cry, laying in his lap and scream. (it may be a minute that will pass, no more). DH sits next to him for LOs sake and to look at me and give me the "it's ok look". know I'm mom and could go grab him but my H asked me to stand back a little. (FIL and my relationship is already on thin ice). And I've already used hungry/diaper change excuse several times. Again I know this is my baby but I also have to keep peace when there's little there. Also if I knew my LO was hurting or something was wrong he would be in my arms in a minute.

I have similar issues when my in laws come to visit. DS cries when my MIL holds him and she refuses to let me console him. She tells me that when I'm near him it just makes it worse because he can smell me and thinks its time to eat. I have to leave the room because I start getting upset listening to him cry and I'm trying to keep things civil between us. I'm all out of "nice" at this point though and if it happens again she's losing baby-holding privileges.
