Has anyone given delivered at St. Thomas Midtown since it changed from Baptist?

I have heard rumors that their nursing staff was reduced. Due to this mothers are being discouraged from placing their newborns in the nursery overnight because there aren't enough nurses to cover the mom and baby.  I can choose between St. Thomas Midtown and Cenntenial, not sure which one to go with now.

    I had the same concern and asked my OB her opinion. She delivers at Baptist all the time and reassured me that she has not seen any negative changes and that she doesn't think the hospital will mess with the maternity area since its such a money maker. She even went on to say that she doesn't like centennial because there is always a new nurse there who doesn't know what she was doing. After getting that strong of an opinion, I chose Baptist :)
