How is the GADS (was that was it was called?) diet going? Is your DS feeling any better now?

  • GAPS ;)

It's going really well now.  We both were pretty violently ill for the first 3-4 days.  Our bodies were purging something fierce.  But by Saturday we were on the mend and were able to add a few new foods to our legal list.

Now we're seeing amazing results - stuff that's probably TMI to share here - but let's just say DS1 finally has solid poop!!  Woohoo!

Thanks so much for asking about us.  I really appreciate all the prayers and well wishes <3

  • That's great news!! I really hope it continues to go so well and he's able to get rid of some of those allergies!

  • Thanks!  Me too!

I'm also doing the diet to help heal my Crohn's Disease.  The maintenance meds I take are extremely expensive and there are no generics available, so it would be a huge blessing for us if this diet works and we could free up that money!!

  • I have a couple cousins with Crohn's and I know how rough it can be. Good luck with the diet!
