Nipple in Flange

I'm FF and pumping right now. Each time I pump I only get 1-2oz. I went a bought a size bigger of the flange to see if a better fitting one would help me get more milk, but I'm wondering if I should even get a size bigger. How much of my areola should be in the tube part of the flange?

Thanks @AFwifelife. It looks like it fits right, but I'm wondering about when it pulls in. Should my whole areola be pulled in?

Your whole areola doesn't need to be sucked in.

I use both the 24 and the 27. They seem to work about the same for me. How long have your been pumping for? The first week I only got 1 to 2 oz a pump but as I pumped regularly my supply increased.

I have been pumping for over 6 weeks and have tried everything to increase my supply (mother's milk pills, tea, lactation cookies, power pumping). It would have been nice if the simple fix was a bigger flange, but I don't think that's the case.

I massage (pressure on a duct) my boobs while I pump. The lc at the hospital showed me how otherwise I would have never known and probably wouldn't be getting the results I am getting. Do you do that already kdm1106?

@emorda, I haven't tried that. Is there a technique or just massage the overall breast?

The larger flange (27 mm) helped a little for me. If nothing else my boobs feel better after a pumping session. I also have thyroid issues and take domperidone to help with my supply (along with lots of other things I do to help my supply). That makes the biggest difference for me.
