Yes, I got one a few days before my BFP and glad I did! I always get one as early in the season as possible since I volunteer with elderly folks-- it would be terrible to expose them without knowing it. Of course it's even more important for me now because pregnancy lowers your immune response!

I didn't get one with my last pregnancy and I don't think I'll get one with this one. I'm not terribly suspicious of shots/vaccinations , but the flu shot in particular has always made me more sick then when I've not gotten it.
I got the shot last year for the first time ever, it was required for my IVF cycle. If you got sick they would have to cancel the cycle, so I got one.
I'm getting one on Monday.

I will be getting one in 2nd tri. My OB is super cautious with me, so I'll wait until then. It's dangerous to get the flu while pregnant. Your immune system is down naturally, and you can become dehydrated much faster.
I got mine already. I always do, because I work with frail elderly and I travel between many facilities, so it would be too easy for me to carry something's around town.
I never used to get one then I got the flu the first year DS was in daycare. I was so sick that when I went to the doctor I literally had the markers for starvation since I was still breastfeeding but too sick to eat. I know it isn't 100% of flu strains but I decided it was better than nothing. I was just planning on waiting until my OB appointment and getting it there.
DH and I have both gotten a flu shot every year since I was pregnant with DD1. Our kids have gotten it as well since the time they were old enough. The AAP recommends that all children age 6 months to 18 years get an annual flu shot.
I'm the only one in our household that still needs to get one at the moment. I have my first OB appointment next Wednesday and plan on asking whether they offer it at their office (if I recall correctly, I'm almost positive they do). If they don't, I'll run over to the pharmacy after my appointment to get one.
I will be getting one, it is required by my employer (I work in a hospital) and provided for free. DS and DD will get one also, DH never does- boooooooooooo.
I got mine last week, an intradermal one because they don't have the mercury in them. I got one when I was pregnant last time as well, and I even got the Whooping Cough vaccine. I have asthma so I am high risk for the flu, the shot isn't optional for me.
Getting the flu while pregnant is no joke. I ran to my dr. as soon as I got the bfp at 4 weeks. I didnt get one during my first pregnancy because I wasn't pregnant during flu season.
I don't think I will. I've never gotten the flu shot. But obviously I've never been pregnant. I don't usually get sick so... I don't know. The risks worry me. My baby will be vaccinated. But the Flu shot. I just don't know.
I try to stay away from flu shots. I got 1 in my adult life and I got sick all night the night I got it. I just got back from my appointment and my OB says I need to get one. Blah!

Oh you make me feel better. I work at a school and my school is giving us flu shots for free. I am scheduled to get mine next week. Just found out this morning we are pregnant so 4 weeks along. I always get the flu shot but was a bit nervous getting it now that I am pregnant and since I had a MC the beginning of the year but if my Dr says it is ok, I am getting it.
