So I got my flu shot at my last appointment (upon my request) and I asked for the Tdap at the same time. My midwife said their office doesn't carry it. I've called several other doctors and pharmacy clinics and they don't carry it either. I got the Tdap vaccination 2 years ago after DD was born so I'd be getting this one just to try to pass some of the immunity along to DS (per the CDC's recommendation as of 2012). So here's my question, would you continue calling around (maybe the health dept?) to try to find the vaccination or just stick with having gotten it 2 years ago and knowing that will help protect LO when he arrives?
And here's a plate of cookies for answering one more vaccination question:)

I'd keep calling so you can find out where your SO and other close relatives can get it too. Good luck.
Another keep calling vote. I'm surprised it is that hard to find.
Also confession @fluttergirlmoonchild79 I actually made legit chocolate chip cookies yesterday but I'm too tired to get up and take a picture of them (but I'll share).
ETA to add @babymama619 it's a midwife/OB office that I go to and the entire office doesn't carry it. The interesting thing is they are the office connected to the hospital so you'd think if anyone carried it, it would be them.
Anyhow, DH and I were able to get both (no prescription necessary) through my County Health Department, and they billed my insurance just like a doctor's office would have.
