DS started spitting up in the last week or so. Doc put him on soy similac and his body seems happier but he is still spitting up. Not a lot but enough. If i change him an hour after esting, he will spit up too.Do you have spit up-ers? What do you do at night?
Re: talk to me about spit up
This is my DD as well, she is also on soy. I don't have her elevated, she sleeps in her crib, but I don't thin having her head elevated would help anyways since she still spits up when she is in her car seat, swing, and bouncy chair which are all elevated.
We were actually starting to have some other issues including DD struggling when eating and actually fighting and thrashing when I was trying to feed her as well as a lot of choking and coughing. We went to the pedi today since she has only been eating about half of what she had been because of all the struggling and they diagnosed her with reflux and started medication. I don't know if it is just a coincidence or what but since we gave her the medicine she has eaten her normal amount without struggling, burped well without having an issue, and has been spitting up a normal amount instead of excessively like she had been. We're trying this medicine for 4-6 weeks so we'll see if it keeps making a difference like this.
Just putting that out there in case you have more issues than just spit up, I really hope this helps her for good since she seemed like she was in pain and so uncomfortable!
