  i took it last time, and likely will again this time.  I did not have weight gain.  But everyone is different and you will have to see what works for you.

  I didn't gain weight. You HAVE to take it at the same time everyday. There is no wiggle room with the mini pill

  I took it last time and didn't experience any weight gain from it. This time I'm going with an IUD because I think we are done having kids (the mini pill is a little risky and we were willing to risk it last time since we wanted another baby eventually).

  After talking with my OB, I think we're going with the ParaGard IUD. It's non-hormonal. It was recommended because we want to have another in maybe 18 months or so and it's easy to put in and take out when we want to start trying again. My OB uses it and I was surprised that about 40% of female OB and OB-PAs use it as BC after their first child.
