So this week I have had two hot flash episodes where I actually almost passed out. Once in the shower and once in a store while shopping. I talked to my dr about it at my appt today and he said it's heat/low blood sugar. He told me to make sure I'm snacking between meals, eat before showering, and avoid getting overheated. Thought I would share these instructions in case anyone else in 3rd tri (or any tri for that matter) has had the same experience. I thought I was eating enough but I guess it's not just about how much you eat but also eating often enough so your blood sugar doesn't drop.
Aside from that, I officially moved to weekly monitoring today and they will do the first non stress test next week!! Ahhhh!!! Can't believe I'm so close!! I gained 3 lbs in the past 2 weeks and baby girl is feeling HEAVY!!
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

I'm due November 22, and I'll be 34 weeks on Friday. I go twice a week for my non stress test. I hate going so often but they feel it's a necessity with my age and having hypertension. My belly is so big with the baby that I can barely walk at times so I know how you feel.
I've also been having contractions. I had one at my non stress test, and it was painful, but my blood pressure stayed great, which was a good thing.
I am due Nov 21st and it just dawned on me today while at my OB office waiting to see the Dr that I only have 6 weeks give or take and I almost pooped my pants. I have so much crap to do and so little time to do it in. We just finished a HUGE addition and have been slowly getting the house put back in order. I have furniture in the new baby's room but that is about it. I need to get into my Mom's attic to collect my newborn clothes and get some of my stuff back for when this one arrives.
I hear you all about the sleeping through the night. I am exhausted all the time due to such crappy sleep. My arm falls asleep, my hip falls asleep and I flop like a flounder back and forth multiple times a night just to get comfy. Oh and by the end of the day my left hip ACHES so badly and the only position that seems to stretch it and provide me some relief is when I stand like the Capt. Morgan Spiced Rum Pirate, it's a great look
Here's to surviving the next few weeks. For me they are flying far too quickly.
