periods after c section

I had c section about 3months and a half ago , my period has been coming twice a month ever since c section .. Has this happened to anyone before? Does it go back to normal? Ex- I get my period as usual and then a week later I get it again..

I believe it is considered post partum bleeding until at least six weeks. If you have started the mini pill, you may have irregular spotting for a course of months. If you are EBF, you may have irregular bleeding. Every person and every pregnancy is different.

With my second, I bled off and on for at least 8 weeks, maybe longer? It usually meant that I had overdone it. You can call your doc to confirm but I think this is normal for some.
