The Baby Book and The Attachment Parenting Book by Sears are good starters.
In terms of natural birth and BFing (which are not requirements for AP, but often appeal to the same people): The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding (most recent edition), The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth.
In addition to the books above: Beyond the Sling is an idea of what day-to-day life as an AP family beyond infancy looks like. Sleeping with Your Baby by McKenna is great prep for sharing sleep. Alfie Kohn books are also helpful for thinking AP into childhood. Unless you have a background in unschooling, you may find them very provocative/love to hate them/challenging. Naomi Aldort is another big name.
