New here :) and potty training help

Hi! I've been on the baby and preg buzz apps for over 3 years and am currently one of the moderators on them. Since it will be closing soon I thought I'd check out the actual forums.

My dd will be 3 in February and still shows no interest in potty training. We have tried treats, a sticker chart, making it exciting, small potties and the seat that goes on the toilet. Some days she does awesome and uses it...but other days she has no problem with peeing or pooping her pants and will actually scream and cry to put on a diaper. Is she just not ready? She is also going through a phase of being afraid of random things and sometimes she says the potty is scary. She's a very stubborn little girl!

She isn't ready. Trying to force it will just make it take longer.

Is there a reason you need to hurry her up (i.e. daycare or something)? If not, I would just wait until she is ready. I know it's hard, but she won't use diapers forever!

I'd give it a break and try again in a few weeks.
