Activity with almost 3month olds

I feel a bit silly asking this but what kinds of activities do you do day to day with your littles? I feel like I'm not doing enough play/stimulation. They spend a lot of time in bouncers, we go for a lot of walks, but I don't feel like I am engaging them or getting 1:1 time with either girl :/. Being a nanny is so much easier than a MoM!

  • At that age we primarily cuddled. I also read books to them or sung songs during tummy time. It sounds like you're doing exactly what you should!

  • Agree with @missa_g. I remember posting this same thing. It seems like you're not doing enough but you are. It sounds like you're doing great!

  • I definitely felt/feel that way all the time! My girls love their activity mat, and if one is occupied with that, that's when I swoop in and snuggle with the other one. Also, such a silly thing--my friend gave us a scarf that is really light weight & my girls think its super funny to watch it slowly float down over their heads or when it gets pulled quickly across their faces. They could play that game for hours...
  • Very little besides holding, feeding, sitting them up on my lap and talking to them, and putting them on the activity mat for a few minutes here and there.  I don't feel like it's enough either, but it's about all I can manage!
