Pregnant after a Loss

Visitors at Ultrasound

So, I invited my mom and my hubby to my 7w3d ultrasound after everything being well at the last two. Doctor said this next time that we could hear the heartbeat (I just saw last time), which I thought would be so fun for them to hear. Now I am getting nervous though that something will be wrong when they come, and it will just be awful. Should I just think positive? Or should I rethink this?

  • Think positive! My sister was at my 18-week ultrasound, which was nervewracking because it was a u/s to check on my SCH [which had disappeared, and baby was nice and strong]. I was so glad she was there to share that with me. You should take them!

  • Think positive! We had both families at our 18w (elective u/s). I had the same fears...what if something was wrong? But it was fine and a happy memory for all.
