Leaking?

Hi ladies-I had my 1st appt yesterday and am 8 weeks 5 days! Everything looked great and the baby even moved on the u/s! However, last night, I had some clear liquid discharge, like running down my leg....no not pee and since no blood unlikely to be amniotic fluid...my midwife told me not to worry...anyone have this experience?

Changes in discharge are normal. You can thank your fluctuating hormones.

yeah... another piece of "lovelyness" of being pregnant.... Its like a freaking slip n slide down there! LOL!!

This may fall in the "things that shouldn't be shared" category.. but anyway..... Hubby and I were having some "adult time" the other night, and he said.. "wow.. honey... you're really excited".... I didn't have the heart to break it to him that it had nothing to do with him or his mad "bedroom" skills!! ! ha ha ha!!!

Me too! I just love this birth club! Keeps my spirits up

I've had the same thing when I stand up after I wipe. Not sure if it's vag liquid or pee haha. Who knows!

Leaky vagina is a fun side effect of pregnancy. So are lovely-smelling crotch and crack sweat (just wait and see!). You can save yourself some discomfort and possible embarrassment by using ultrathin pads with wings. Don't even bother with puny little pantiliners. Go for full coverage. They wick up all that moisture, both from discharge and from perspiration, and help keep your girly bits from getting chapped and chafed and itchy.

Did you have an internal ultrasound?

I know after mine I had some leakage for sure. Between all the lube they use on the dildo cam, plus all the moving around, definitely got the juices going. Not in a "I'm turned on" kind of way, but you get the picture. I wouldn't worry too much. Just another fun side effect.
