Crib Transition Starts Tonight!

After all my hemming and hawing and thinking I'm going to start and then chickening out, we really are going to give it a go tonight. I've moved the Sleep Sheep into DS's room and set up the video monitor. I fully plan on having to get up at some point during the night because DS has realized he is not in his normal sleeping place and moving him back into our room, but of course I'm hoping he makes it all the way through. We will see.

As far as naps today, he only agreed to one of three in his crib...that's been going on for weeks. I don't know how to convince him otherwise; nap training may be in our future, but I haven't pushed it yet because he still naps great in his PNP.

Wish us all luck tonight...of course I am emotional as heck but I'm also tired of being woken up because he wants to talk to himself for five minutes early every morning. I just feel like I am betraying him somehow. Hoping the transition will mean better sleep for everyone.

Good luck - ill be looking for updates from you. (I'm kinda in the same boat, but haven't moved him out of my bed yet. But I can feel I'm getting close to moving him to the PNP next to our bed). I, we- need more sleep- better quality sleep at least.

It went well! DS slept from 9:30 - 6:30 without a peep. I was awake from 3-5. I got rid of the baby noise, but not the DH/dog noise. LOL. And we've had two successful crib naps today! Fingers crossed it keeps going this well!
