Yes my Doctor recommended it for me. I use it every once in awhile when I don't have to be up early the next day! It works too well for me! I could sleep for 2 days! Helps width nausea.
I swear by it! I take it for nausea but it makes me pretty sleepy. Here's my schedule:
12.5 mg (1/2 tab) 1.5 hours before I get up for the day (usually around 6AM) + 50mg B6
12.5 mg (1/2 tab) at noon + 50mg B6
12.5 mg (1/2 tab) at 6PM (if I need it) + 50mg B6
I hope that you find some relief! The unisom works way better for me than the Zofran (although I do add a zofran if I'm having some break-through nausea).
Yes! I take a Unisom every night. It's made this pregnancy much more manageable than my first. It's very very safe. Make sure you get the doxylamine succinate formula.
It totally works for me too. I'm now trying to wean myself off it by taking 1/2 tablet. Would like to think I could soon manage without it but not sure I ever want to feel that sick again
I take it at night only. It doesn't keep me from waking up at night to go to the bathroom (probably a good thing!) but it does help me go right back to sleep instead of then being up all night. I took two the first night but was so groggy the next morning so now I take one and its the perfect amount. Love it! It's not habit forming (for me anyways) so I could take it or not and still fall asleep.
