LO will be 2 weeks tomorrow and has been put on antibiotics for an indefinite period of time as a preventative measure for some kidney problems, but I can't get him to take it as he always spits it back out. Anyone have any advice for successfully administering medicine at this age? I've tried both when he's hungry and full, and neither work. He solely receives breastmilk, mostly from the boob, but does get 2-3 bottles of pumped milk per day (still struggling with the bottle). Is it okay to mix the medicine (amoxicillin) into a pumped bottle? I've left a message with the Dr.'s office, but haven't heard back yet for the day. Thanks!
