I voted 6 month, but really it varies. mostly she's in 3-6 month, but a lot of the 0-3 still fit her around, but are WAYYY too short. So dresses and shirts I can still put her in, but onesies or anything that snaps, forget about it. We don't go back to the dr. for 3 weeks, but at her 4 month appt, she was 29% for weight and 97% for height.
ETA: she is one of the boards youngest, born 4/30.
I put 9 because he still fits in 9 but can easily wear 12 also. I'm just using my 9s while I can! He'll be 6 months next week and is already rocking 22 pounds. He's really tall!
Same exact thing! My DD is 6 months and only fits 9 months or 12 month clothes she is huge!
I chose 9 month, but it varies for us too. She's got a few 6-9 month stuff that fits her best as far as length goes, however, I'm struggling to find clothes that are long enough. She's long and lean, so she always seems to be outgrowing the length far earlier than she would the "width." She's got quite a bit of room around the waist in her 6-9 & 9 month bottoms.
We go for her 6mo check up on Thursday but, at 4 months she was 14lbs 8 oz and 25 1/4".

I chose SS. She can still wear some 3 month onesies and also 6 months (9 month are a little too long). One piece outfits the 3-6 or 6-9 months fit best. With pants she needs 9 months or 12 months or they are high-waters.
SS here. She is in 9 month footed pjs. But most of her clothes are 6 months. However when it comes to Gap and Old Navy I have to do 3-6 b/c 6-12 are just gigantic on her.
I hate special star. Those who choose it could easily fit into one of those categories. I think SS should be like "my kid doesn't wear clothes" or "I dress him in dog costumes and they don't have sizes by month"

DD can only wear onesies with her brace. She can stil wear some 3 month ones, although they are starting to get pretty short in the arms. 6 month ones are long though. Go figure.
He is wearing 6-9 month but they -just- fit. I bought him some 12 month pants yesterday and he fits them perfectly. So I am going to break out the 12 month stuff too.

Lol.
What category should I pick?
I'd say 6 is a good happy medium. All babies take different sizes from different brands or types of clothing. I think the post was trying to see what sizes our little ones are up to, my guy wears anything from 6-12 months but mostly 9-12, so I choose 12.

Oh and also wasn't trying to pick on anyone, just in general, for the majority of SS's I see I can't help but think they could have fallen into one of those options and aren't truly that special :P
Mostly 6 months. Although, I just bought some 9 month sweaters and the like in preparation for the cold weather and put them on her the last couple of days since it's been a little chilly in the mornings and they fit her just fine.
I voted for 6 months But the girls are getting a bit long for them. They are 75% in height and 50% for weight. So probably going to have to switch the jammies at least to 9 mos pretty soon. It's getting cooler here too, so I need to make sure they have seasonal clothing. It's a little tough here, 80's during the day, but as soon as the sun goes down, it drops to the 50's.

I agree about SS being over-used and funny enough never used it til today! Stop picking on me... I just wanted to be special for once! Lol. No harm done. :-)
I chose 6 months, although he can fit into some 9 months as well. I think it varies some on the brand. He fits the length in the 9 months better but still fits 6. He is going to be a tall boy, he is in the 85th perfential for height. I'm happy about that. Myself and my husband are not the tallest.
