I just bough the most beautiful PPB Ergo, I am in love with it. It did not come with the infant insert so this is something I need right? Does the insert snap in you just sit in it? How long do you use the insert?
You tube ergo receiving blanket and it will show you how to use a blanket in place of the insert. We did this with DS and he's already big enough to go without at just 2 months old. The insert would have been a huge waste of money.

We didn't use an insert with DD when we put her in it at four months, but in retrospect, we should have, she was only about 10lbs and so tiny. I got a used insert for $10 for our next baby.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
my concern w/ the insert would be that april in texas is probably a bit warm, and the insert is basically like wrapping them in a sleeping bag and holding them against your body. we have a different carrier (beco) and did the rolled up receiving blanket trick.

They say you can just use a rolled up blanket, but I seriously loved our infant insert. We used it about 6 months? You snap the baby into it, but the insert doesn't snap into the Ergo, you just tighten the ergo snugly around it.
Re: Ergo Question
Thank you will do right now. I appreciate it.
