Modification Vent

DH went for a modification hearing in the first week of June and we still have not gotten our new number yet. It is so frustrating, this wait is ridiculous!
No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside.

    That is crazy.  My H went last month and they gave him the new number while he waited.  But it wasn't a court hearing, maybe that is why?

    That is ridiculous. Were you in front of a Master or Judge?
    We usually have our number by the end of the conference, but we are always in front of a Master for support.

    I have no idea, they were told by the master that he was going to try to make it fast. My DH called and they said they would put it on top of the pile and leave him a note but still nothing.

    which County?  We had 1 guy in Bucks (Jacob) that was slow as molasses - took us almost a year to get the results of his audit (BM owed DH around 5K - but the system never could figure out how to take out the arrears)  it was crazy.  But the whole time DH was paying support - he just wasn't getting his arrears.

    There's your problem!  They are the worst!  All you can do is keep after them.
    I am assuming the support should be reduced, right?  So he will get arrears for all the over payment since date of filing.  Normally they reduce DH's support by 10% until the arrears goes away.  It can take decades!

    Yeah, it should be reduced. I had no idea it would be this difficult. I think it is ridiculous, they had no problem taking the money from us, but when we are entitled to money back, its an uphill battle.

    Sorry it's so frustrating. Ours took a little less than 4 months, but that's because I appealed the decision (daycare wasn't factored in, and then the ass hat decided not to count ANY of the daycare because a portion of the daycare time was so that I could go to school.)

    We just got out child support order in the mail yesterday and we were in court June 8th. It's crazy. So I guess that means BM is already in arrears. If LOLing at that makes me a bitch, then call me a bitch.
