Birthday ideas!

I am having a party for LO's 1st birthday on Saturday, but her actual birthday is tomorrow. My husband and I both took the day off and want to do something special with her before the hooplah this weekend (inlaws, friends, etc). Any ideas on what type of activities we could do? I feel like she may be too little for a lot of things, but want to do something fun.

Zoo, children's museum, indoor play place or just hit up a bunch of different parks and have a picnic at one of them.

We took DS to a local reptile zoo for his first birthday. They have a butterfly exhibit that you get to walk through and they're are 100s of butterflies that are flying around. One landed on DS's head and he thought it was the most hilarious thing. It was really nice to have a party for him, but even better to have some one on one time with him.

We already had our birthday party, but our DD's birthday is on Wednesday. We're taking her out to lunch and then she has her 1 year appointment. Wish we could have done something more fun but we couldn't afford to take the whole day off. I second the zoo or a children's museum!
