Vent: my house is a hot mess. I can barely keep up with dishes and cloth diapers. I steam mopped the floors Friday and they're already filthy again. What's they point.

DH is has some work conference thing today and tomorrow. It involves wine tasting this evening. I'm jealous, and already dreading having no help with the kids until Wednesday night.

I have supply issues, and slacked on my pumping this weekend. It shows. I hate supplementing. I was beginning to think I had caught back up with his demand, but I'm not

AW: we got a new bed. It's a king (we had a queen before)! Loving all the space! It's like I'm sleeping alone!

DH is away on a district tour looking at all the stores until Wednesday & I'm stupid busy at work. I feel like a single mother right now & I'm stressing myself out. I was trying to build a bigger stash for LO while I have my surgery next week but my supply is dwindling. Aw: we took family pictures last week & I get them back tomorrow!

Vent: Since all the animals are now outside of MIL's house.. the place is infested with fleas. I am about to leave in a second to buy some stuff for husband's bedroom since MIL doesn't like pesticides very much.. when she gets back I am going to tell her she needs to bomb this place. (She probably will for Connor) but she will not like it.

AW: I booked Connor's pictures for the end of the month. I also found out that the nearest (lol) YMCA is offering swimming classes with babies at the end of the month, which I will drive 35 miles once a week to go to!

vent: im having MAJOR supply issues too. I pumped extra over the weekend, pumped this morning and only got 2.25 oz. :-(

AW: My DD finally rolled today when I was watching her! I knew she could roll since she does it at night but I had never seen it. It was very coordinated and all done in one quick motion. I was surprised how well she did it! :-)

Vent: my MIL is a smoker and my ds complains when she reaks of smoke and wants to hold our kids. So now she has taken to dousing herself in perfume, which is not much better. Yesterday ds2 was so stinky of perfume that I couldn't wait to wash him. Cut to today when I am still smelling the perfume because it must have gotten on my bra yesterday. I threw it on this morning in a rush and now I have to smell my MIL all day!

AW: my friend asked me to guest blog and I did. The response to my piece has been really kind and makes me wish I had more time to write. Oh, and I make tiny pumpkins from clementines to give to my son's class and I was unreasonably proud of them.

My MIL smokes too. When I became pregnant we told her no smoking before she sees the baby. She has been very good about it but like urs she showers in perfume...I hate how DD smells after her visits and its tough waiting to bath her!!! But I suppose it's better than smoke. I completely emphasize with you!

Vent: I feel like I am living in a construction zone. We are remodeling our kitchen, but it feels like a complete demo. I hate living out of boxes and going out to the garage all the time to get something. Should be a fun positive thing and I hate it. Second thing, DS decided he does not want to do anything anymore. No more rolling, sitting up, even tummy time. He just wants to lay there on his back and play. That's it. He can do all of it, he is being soo lazy. But its hard to be frustrated with him when he gives me that smile. AHH.

@tondraluv- When I had my surgery my stash was low. As soon as I was able to pump again, I pumped every few hours. SO I was able to use what stash I had and then I pumped in between times. Good luck with your surgery. Keep us posted

oops. haha. my AW: I had an unexpected lunch date with DH today! It was a great break in my day. It was exactly what I needed on this Monday.

Also DS has his 6 month pictures this coming up Sunday! I cannot wait. We are going to do an outdoor and indoor shoot!!

AW: We had DS's 2nd birthday party yesterday and it went well. We got him one of the "big hugs Elmo" dolls. He loved Elmo, but the look on his face after we put the batteries in and Elmo started talking to him was priceless. He was amazed.

Not really a vent, but a wish... We have the follow up tomorrow with the orthopedic surgeon for DD's hip dysplasia. I really hope the news is good and we can retire the brace soon!

Vent: I've got a double vent today actually: a rip roaring stomach flu tore through daycare starting Thursday (unbeknownst to us b/c LO doesnt go Fridays), and hit me and DH like wrecking balls this weekend. I spent Friday night with my head in the toilet (or sittiing on it with a bucket in my lap, you're welcome for the details), I am soooo dehydrated, which leads to...

Vent 2: Im jumping on the supply-vent-wagon, I had noticed a dwindling supply for the past couple of weeks, but this weekend's illness has left me with 2 little raisins hanging off my chest, Im not getting a drop out of these girls today!

@MrsHartman7 the same stomach flu went through DS daycare and my work. I had it all weekend, and my boss is home sick with it today, along with her 2 kids. Ugh, not fun to take care of a little one sick with that. Hoping my husband now doesn't get it. Hope everyone is feeling better.

Vent:my mother told me weeks ago that she could pick LO up from the sitter tomorrow since I have a mandatory work training from 4-7. She just texted me to say she is on the schedule to work late and "I may need to find a back up"! Ummm really? Like you should've checked on this weeks ago before you told me yes! Grrrr. AW: we are getting 6 month family pics on Wednesday and I'm soo excited! Another AW moment....my hubby won some big money at the casino! So I went shopping over the weekend!!

My vent: DS is 2.5 and is battling me at nap time the last two days. He was in bed for 3 hrs yesterday before he finally fell asleep. I feel bad he was in there that long but he wasn't crying or upset. Just pissing around looking at books (I don't keep toys in his room). He's going on 1.5 hrs right now. But I can not give in. He's so so not ready to drop his nap yet.
My AW: I'm trying really hard to think of one. It's been a rough week. Uhm. My NP thinks DD is the most beautiful baby and I love when my kids get compliments.

My vent: I have had such a bad week. My brother, who lives with us, had a bad depression episode and threatened to kill himself. We ended up calling the police to take him to the hospital since he wouldn't go with me. The doctors have told him to move back home with our mother. Now that he is leaving, DH and I cannot possibly afford this three bedroom on our own, as we believed he would not be leaving anytime soon. I'm so upset. I just can't deal with any more financial difficulties this year.

My AW: Well, I fit into a pair of my jeans this morning that haven't fit me since 2nd tri. That's something, right?

Vent: I have pleurisy. Something that old people get! I can't breathe and I am in serious pain. It hurts to hold DD. I thought it was pneumonia. At this point I wish it was; the best they can do for pleurisy is Advil and a heating pad because it's viral. AW: tomorrow is my birthday. Should be really awesome if I still feel like this.

Vent: I got food poisoning last night. It sucked and I had to call into work sick (third time EVER... the two previous times I called in sick I was hospitalized)

AW: DH stayed home to take care of me. By 11:30 I was feeling better so we all played hookie and went to the aquarium.

I had the stomach flu when DS2 was 6 weeks. That was horrible. Thankfully my supply bounced back with lots of Gatorade to rehydrate. Feel better!

Vent: I have a virus and feel horrible. DS got his shots today and might have an ear infection. Yuck.

AW: DS is tall and skinny so maybe he will get his dad's genes and not be 5'2" like me.

@none5 Aaww, well happy bday! I hope you feel better tommorow.

We kind of failed at our first overnight out. We went camping and were supposed to go Friday and Saturday night with my friends. It was going well but only one other couple showed up and it was tiring packing and prepping. We passed out at 10 and slept until 7. Then Sat morning we went on a 5 mile hike to caves and through woods. Fun but it got very cold and poured the whole time. When we got back both tents were so full of water they had puddles. All of the clothes and bedding was soaked and it was creeping to 40 degrees. They decided to leave bc they had a 9 month old with them so we did too. Packed up again drove 3 hours home and T has been so fussy and crying all the time. I need a vacation. That's all I've got right now.
