Swollen feet & hands

in 3rd Trimester
Soaking them in cold water, drinking water & elevation isn't helping. Can't get my rings off suddenly as of Saturday out of nowhere & my feet itch and are so hot from swelling. Anyone else recommend anything. 36 weeks pregnant. Ppppplease & thank you.
Pregnancy discovered at 12 weeks 12/2007 - D&C at 13 Weeks due to partial Ectopic pregnancy/Body rejecting pregnancy. Last Pregnancy - EDD August 2013 TTC Our first miracle baby.

    Have you checked your blood pressure? If this is a sudden thing, it's probably worth calling the doctor.

    My feet/legs/arms/ hands have been really swollen also---for about a month now. I've tried everything from reducing my sodium intake to increasing my water intake etc. some days are better than others. The swelling in my arms has caused carpal tunnel which has then caused Raynaud's syndrome. Ready to have this baby so I can have relief. With that being said...I have been lucky to have great BP and so far no protein in urine. Hope you feel better!

    I had my weekly appointment on Friday and no protein & normal BP. But my swelling started on Saturday. I may just call and ask "what's not normal" and see what they say.

    Yeah, I would definitely call the doc just to be sure.

    I would call. Swelling that won't go away with rest and lots of water could be sign of something going on. Plus the itching and burning concerns me.

    I am in the same boat and the doctor just said it'll go away after baby comes. I am 33 weeks and this last week I have been so swollen. My feet also itch when swollen, just like your belly does from the stretching, it's like the skin on my feet are stretching. And I have carpel tunnel from the swelling in my right hand/wrist. Looking for relief also but don't know what will help. I drink lots of water but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.

    Swelling that comes on suddenly can be cause for concern as well as the itching. I had this happen and when I called the nurse line they brushed it off. I checked my BP at the pharmacy and it was very high, I had never had a problem prior to that and had also just been checked at the doctor.

    Thanks ladies :) the itching is from my swollen skin stretching. I do know that. Today (as of right now it's gone away) so we'll see if it was a fluke thing. She's swimming away in there as we speak.
