  Good luck! Similar thing with my LO, the first couple of exams were really hard on him, but as he got bigger & stronger they weren't a big deal any more.

  We also dealt (and are dealing with) anemia. We had a transfusion about a month ago.

  I hope the exam went well! My 26-weeker had ROP and she got better at getting the exam. She also has anemia and needed transfusions also.

  She kicked that ROP's exam butt today! The doc looked a lot longer then last time and determined still immature but sees no issues and predicts all is fine. He said he was debating between saying she is clear or giving her one more exam and he said based on protocol she will need one again in 2 weeks. Yikes!
