-What are your kids going to dress up as this year? DS will be Scooby Doo and DD will be Minnie Mouse (DS chose for both)

-DIY or prefab costumes? mostly prefab

-Will you go trick-or-treating? yes, at least with DS

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? Candy corn! (I know, I'm weird)

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? I loathe coming up with costume ideas. Fortunately, DS took care of that for me this year. I may even create a Shaggy costume for DH, in the hopes that he will join in the fun, for once.

-What are your kids going to dress up as this year? DS - Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. DD - Skully from the same show (interpretation of a parrot with a tutu skirt)

-DIY or prefab costumes? DIY. I am a novice seamstress and am lucky that my sister designs costumes for a living and always helps me

-Will you go trick-or-treating? DS will. We may take DD to a few houses

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? Peanut butter cups

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? I love so many things: decorations, pumpkin carving, costumes, handing out candy. I love holidays.

-DIY or prefab costumes? probably something DIY from regular clothes.

-Will you go trick-or-treating? No...too young. And I refuse to be that parent that takes their baby trick or treating!!

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? Reeses pumpkins, twix, starburst. And peeps (yeah, I know)!

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? Love: Fall weather, seeing all the cute costumes. Loathe: Not really much.

DD is going as Snow White and DS is going as Thomas the train. Can't wait to go trick-or-treating. Favorite candy is kit kats and Reese's.

I'm so excited, I just got an AWESOME mermaid costume (really cute one) at TJ Maxx for DD1 this weekend, and we got DS a dolphin. I'm going to order some kind of ocean-related costume for DD2 and they will be so cute!

We trick or treat. Several times.

Favorite Candy: Almond Joy, Snickers, Kit Kat

Don't Like: It's actually getting complicated and hard to plan and DH is always very busy and working for Halloween. It's hard to get home and get everyone pottied, fed, and in costumes by myself. We live in a suburb and all the surrounding areas have different ToT times. We ToT in Grandma's neighborhood (our old one) to just a few houses ON Halloween. We have friends who have a ToT party in their neighborhood for a few kids over the weekend, but I think it's the same day our new neighborhood is having ToT. We're on a corner and I don't think we will get many ToTreaters at all...but I still feel bad about not being home, and I'd like to take the kids around our neighborhood, too. Have to decide on what to do about all the time conflicts!

-DIY or prefab costumes? its prefab. I was going to make a little red riding hood and dress our boxer as the grandma but thought it would be cuter next year when she can walk

-Will you go trick-or-treating? yes she is going but not actually getting candy. We are going with her big cousins. I might let her get candy from 1 or 2 neighbors just as a photo opt.

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? Nerds, sweet tarts and anything with PB

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? It is a fun holiday! I love decorating and giving the kids candy. I HATE when a kid doesn't say Trick or Treat and just holds their bag open. I always get them to say it. I also hate it when kids throw eggs or shaving cream.

DS1's is prefab
DS2's is DIY

Yes, just a few houses on our street. We will take them both, but only one bucket for DS1, of course, lol.

-What is your favorite Halloween candy?
Peanut butter cups, almond joys, snickers

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween?
I love how much fun DS1 had last year, and how he remembers it and is looking forward to it this year. I loathe that no matter how much candy I buy, I always run out. Sorry, 8 huge bags from Sam's club is my limit! And I always run out before 8pm!

What are your kids going to dress up as this year? Cowboy

-DIY or prefab costumes? combo: we bought the hat, boots, and belt buckle; the rest will be clothes DS already has

-Will you go trick-or-treating? I think so; probably only a few houses near us (DS is 18 mos) unless it's a warm night then we might just stroll around the neighborhood letting DS look at all the decorations (on that note, when did decorating for Halloween become like decorating for Christmas?! We have crazy elaborately decorated houses in our neighborhood. Not judging - I think it's cool, just way too much work for me!)

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? peanut M&Ms

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? love seeing all the kids and love going to pumpkin patches/farms; loathe if we're invited to a party where DH and I would need to dress up. I'm not creative at all!

-What are your kids going to dress up as this year? DD is going as Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates (and I'm so happy to others dressing that way too..I was worried no one would know who she was!)

-DIY or prefab costumes? I was going to make it, but found a prefab at Walmart for $10.

-Will you go trick-or-treating? Definitely! She's super excited!

-What is your favorite Halloween candy? Bite size 3Musketeers

-What do you love (or loathe) most about Halloween? I love everything, the fall weather, the pumpkins, the decorations, dressing up, handing out candy, etc. I HATE those older kids that don't even try to dress up and come to my door.

My son will dress up as a giraffe for one party and as Tigger for another. Both are pre bought costumes that we got second hand.
I love any chocolate candy especially reeses pieces and cups and m&ms.
We are going trick or treating in a sense as we will parade around and go to child friendly events, but DS is too young for candy yet.
I believe that Halloween is a child's holiday and it really bugs me when teenagers dress up and go out trick or treating. It's one thing to have a party, but it's another thing to go around asking for candy when you're in middle school or older. I just think it's weird.
