Miscarriage and now pregnant - NO PERIOD

So this is what happened....My LMP was 7/26/13 I am always regular and on time, I can pinpoint the moment I will start. My period before that was 6/25/13. Well I missed my August period, and found out 8/28/13 I was pregnant by HPT. On September 4th I started miscarrying. I bled for about 7 days. I was done bleeding and spotting on the 10th and my level were back to 0. My husband and I were intimate again on Sept 11. Again, I was completely done bleeding and was not spotting. Well we were intimate the rest of the month, but not daily. I was waiting for my period to start at some point. Assuming it would be sometime in October or November. Well Thursday Sept 3rd, my gut told me to take a HPT, very much to my surprise it was faint positive. Then duh, I noticed my breasts were very very tender and I was moody but I thought it was from the MC. I called a specialist to see how soon they could get me in. I wanted to make sure things were back to normal and none of this was from the MC. I has labs done and on Thursday, it was 36. Knowing my levels had to go up, I peed on a HPT again on Saturday, and it was a BFP this time ( I figured they went up from how bright the line was compared the the first HPT). Well I had a repeat lab on Saturday as well, and Sunday, it was 120. It more than tripled! I am relieved, but AHHH I have no idea how many weeks I am or when I conceived! I am going crazy! I have an OB and U/S appt on Oct 21. More info...that was my second MC, my first pregnancy ended in a MC at 5/6 weeks, I got pregnant a cycle later, had normal, no problem pregnancy with vag delivery 2 1/2 years ago, now MC and pregnant again. Whew! Another thing, did anyone have a "Gut Feeling" they were pregnant and/or miscarrying? It's weird but I just knew I was gonna MC this last time just as I did the first, and I have a peace about this pregnancy just as my second, although I'm still anxious due to fact I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN I GOT PREGNANT! I know it was somewhere between Sept 11 and October 3. Any words of encouragment? Much needed!

Congrats!

I had an early loss last PG and found out I was expecting again while trying to get my period started. They did an early U/S on me to determine due date since we had no idea when I conceived.

Congrats on your BFP! An ultrasound can help you date the pregnancy if you're worried about it. Either an ultrasound or if you have the patience, you can wait until NT scan or anatomy scan. My first u/s was anatomy scan at 18 weeks and we adjusted my due date a few days based on that (to what I thought it should be based on my O date but the doctors never want to hear about that!).

If hcg was only at 36 I'd say you picked it up right around 4 weeks or so, but that's a shot in the dark because they can vary SO much. Good luck with the u/s, that should let you know timing.

Congrats! I also got pregnant after a m/c with no period between so it was difficult to know how far along I was. Turns out I was much earlier than I thought and the first couple ultrasounds didn't show too much. Finally at 6 weeks 4 days we had a definitive yes and a heartbeat. I would imagine based on your numbers you are still pretty early so I would maybe schedule an ultrasound for 2-3 weeks from now. As for the gut feeling, before our u/s that confirmed our miscarraige I felt it in my bones. I was shaking I was so nervous, something just didn't feel right. This time I have had issues with bleeding and such so I am yet to really breathe easy. I don't think I will be able to really let it sink in and be excited and feel connected to it all until after 1st tri is over and maybe even until I see a bump!

I had a similar situation with this pregnancy- I chart so I was able to figure out how far along I was using the day I stopped bleeding as my LMP. I ovulated exactly 2 weeks after that. Might go by that until you can get a dating u/s?

I had the same thing happen. They did an ultrasound early and measured the baby to see how far along I was.

In the exact same boat as you! Miscarried in Sept and now pregnant again with no period. I also have no idea how far along I am but am assuming its somewhere between the 4-5 week period.

Oh wow! That is pretty neat! Once nurse gave me an EDD of 6/11/13 just on the info I told her. I'm hoping it will be 6/19, my hubby's birthday! Best of luck with your pregnancy!
