This was the project we did today, we used cars to paint. I do a lot of things with tape on canvas, have the kids paint the canvas over the tape, once the paint dries, remove the tape to leave an image. Today we painted first then added the pumpkin faces after.
Not the best pic, but showing an example of a picture done with a taped image. This is from Easter. I taped a piece of paper cut like a bunny head to the canvas. James painted, then I removed the taped paper to leave the bunny image. I did another where I taped SANTA, had James paint in red and green. We use it with the Santa cookies on Christmas Eve. I also did LOVE for a V-day project.
Pretty much what everyone else said. But A is more obsessed with trying to rip the tape off than actually making/playing with what's in the bag.
This would be my kid too. There is no way in her mind that it's acceptable that something be taped down. She's pissed that we don't let her peel the foam padding off the edge of the coffee table (that she's constantly crashing into)
Re: What do I put in the big ziplock bags
This is genius. We are definitely trying this today.
