  I was told six weeks. It is the open wound in your uterus that is at risk of infection.

  I asked and they said 6 weeks as well

  
  
  -My step-daughter is 12 years old.
  
  -BFP #1 on 9/2/12, D&C 10/18/12 no heartbeat on US @ 10 weeks.
  
  -BFP #2 on 1/7/13, R was born on 9/22/13 via C-Section

  after 6 week check up is usally fine, before that time is too risky for infection from a bath, so wait 3 more weeks,

  Ok thanks. This may be a stupid question, but what do they do at the 6 week check up? How do they know if my internal incisions are healed?
