Have you been successful finding the heartbeat yet? If so, how far along were you when you found it? I tried mine out today, and of course, nothing. With DS, I found it around 10.5 weeks. Just curious!
I really think I found it this morning (a galloping sound that was much faster and very different than the swooshing/slower beating of the placenta/artery), but I could only hear it in the background of the artery noise--it wasn't loud enough to register BMP on the display screen. Found it briefly three different times though. I'm only 8w4d today, so it's still really early. Gonna try to wait until I'm 9 weeks on Wednesday to try again, so that hopefully it will display on the screen then.
Ok, this is my first and I'm 8 wks. I want to buy one stat so that hopefully it arrives by the time I am 10 wks. Which Doppler do you all highly recommend? I'm excited!
They have one at walmart that works great. I bought it for my friend years ago and she loved it. You can even record the heartbeat (not sure if you can do that with others as I have no experience).
Wow, didn't realize you could hear it on the Doppler so early! I'm at 10 weeks so this makes me want to try it out now.. For those that have used them - did you buy or rent?
Wow so I see a huge difference between the rental prices and the fetaldoppler.net- for the same price as renting PER MONTH you can just buy one which seems insane. Am I missing something? I am only 7 weeks, 4 days but would love to have one to try in 1.5 weeks.
I heard baby at 8w6d with both pregnancys! I have the sonoline b aswell. Now at 10w I find it instantly. When your earlt be surw to pointot dowm ttowards your toes! Totaly helps!

I've been trying every 2 to 3 days for 2 weeks. Hoping to find that elusive little one this week, if not, I know I'll be having an appt on the 22nd where I will be able to hear them.
