That looks good, want to send that over to my house?? I didn't get to make any freezer meals because my son decided to be 2 weeks early. I'll PM you my address! Lol
oh and my husband is TOTALLY nesting. he not only cleaned out every part of our kitchen (cabinets, pantry, fridge/freezer) he also made a giganto pot of chicken farro soup today to freeze wtf!
meanwhile i was eating ice cream, whining about being uncomfortable lol
My freezer is getting too full!! I made 3 loaves of banana bread this morning, and am thinking of making another batch of 3 b/c 1. I have eaten almost all of a loaf already myself, 2. I have more bananas and 3. I sent a loaf w/ my husband this morning to the NASCAR race (don't judge, he got free tickets to some sort of special infield driver signing thing so he decided to go). I wish I had a standalone freezer, I want to cook more things and I am having a hard time resisting eating the things that are already in there.
I'm making a turkey dinner (well a giant turkey breast since frankly, I don't give a fuck about the rest of the turkey) since I'm done having my baby. He's cuddled up with his daddy asleep right now
I decided to make meatballs today - half for dinner tonight and half are going right in the freezer. I surprised myself that I accomplished this today.

I love empanadas! Sounds delish. My biggest accomplishment today was eating half a box of Cheez-It party mix while hubby and I drove around aimlessly looking at fall foliage. I feel good about it though. So I guess there's that

Feel free to send your DH to my house... mine hasn't gotten off the couch since we got home from church.
Nice. I made 16 breakfast burritos to freeze and my mom made an extra lasagne last night to freeze when she was making me dinner... Nice to have mom around!
"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him." x 2
cooking going on here too. I making/freezing cookie dough for DH to bake so DD can bring in a treat to preschool when I have DS. Also doing baby laundry
I kicked ass today. Made spaghetti sauce, 4 loaves of banana bread, apple sauce and apple butter. Mostly for christmas presents since we will be broke lol!
Advice on freezer meals? I've never done them and I'm too nervous to start lol
Why are you nervous, specifically? I've never done them before, but what is easiest for me is just to make a double batch of whatever I'm cooking for dinner and freeze half of it. I found it much easier than doing a huge grocery shopping and cooking-mulit-meals day, that seemed overwhelming to me. So, over the last few weeks, I just froze half a pot of chili, half a pot of chicken and noodles, I made two pans of shepherd's pie and froze one, etc, etc. Most of the stuff I put in either freezer bags (like the chili), or in disposable foil pans.

what sleepy said! i am just doing a few at a time. my husband and i have been basically tag teaming and doing a couple a weekend. trying to do 5000 in one day is WAY too much for me, no thanks!
Re: while the rest of you are having babies
I haven't finished the nursery.
I haven't done laundry in roughly a week.
I have found time for a nap.
Someone please prioritize my life.

All true for me except finding time for a nap-what's that?
