Much shorter this time. DH finally recommended a couple of names I might be able to get on board with. What do you think of Maxwell (nn Max) and Mason? (I know Mason is super popular right now, but I'm getting to the point of beyond caring!)

Any middle name suggestions for either of these? Thanks for putting up with me!

Max is the name of like half of my old Jewish uncles -- definitely not babyish. It's also DH's middle name. I like it better than Mason.

We were set on Maxwell for our LO. Then, we also decided on Matthew. Now, we are just going to wait til birth to decide what he looks more like. I'm not a fan of Mason at all.

We're going with Vietnamese middle names so I'm not any help in that department either.

What about Jude as a middle name? Or first name. Not to try and confuse the situation more, ha! A friend of mine was toying with the name Jude and ended up calling her son Jenson. I prefer Jude personally. And her other son is Max so I think they (Jude and Max) sound good together.

Funny you should mention that. Jude has been on my "middle names list" since the beginning. For some reason I really love it in that slot. I think this combo is what I'm currently leaning towards.

I prefer Maxwell, but I also like Mason. Both would go well with most middle names so you have a lot of options there.

I love Max! I have proposed it many a time to my DH, but he won't go for it. I would not use Mason, but I know someone who has a Mason and a Cole, so I think it's kind of funny that you are considering it.

I really like Mason, but not Maxwell. I think a strong, one syllable middle name would sound good. Maybe Mason James or Mason Charles?

Max is the name we picked!!! I love it! His middle name will be Harold, which is my grandfather's name. I don't feel the names flow well together but we don't care. The sentiment is more important to us.
