Water broke spontaneously

So I had a scheduled induction this evening, however my water broke this morning spontaneously around 8:30. I was up early on the bump around 5 am interacting , doing laundry along with other household chores. I went back to bed after 7 am but was awaken by the wet feeling. It was fun seeing my husband panicking telling me we had to go now. I told him I am going to take a shower first which I did. I got dress , put on my makeup and I now I am at the hospital. Lol , don't he knows a girl have to look cute even when she is about to give birth!!
Wish me luck, I am so excited to meet my son!!!

I had the same thing! Doc wanted to induce me, but Harry decided to come early - by a little over a week. My water broke, and I wasn't really contracting, so they began a little bit of pitocin. Harry was born almost exactly 12 hours from when I noticed my water broke. Good luck! Even with the pitocin (and an epidural), I had a great labor experience. I wasn't that thrilled about the pitocin (or the idea of induction), but I ended up having an easy labor. I'm glad my body decided when it wanted to "go" rather than my doc! Again -- good luck!
