We have been waiting on baby girl to roll over for just over a month now. She has demonstrated clearly that she can do it but chooses not to by rolling almost all the way over and then rolling back. As of Tuesday (her 5 month b-day) she has decided to forgo the roll in favour of the sit, and has been sitting for up to five minutes at a time this whole week! We are quite proud of her!

    My DS was the same way! He was five months when he finally rolled belly to back, and he still hasn't rolled back to belly, but he's getting pretty good at sitting up now. I just figure rolling isn't his thing!

    My DS crawled at 9 mos before he rolled back to belly!! Silly babies!!

    My oldest skipped rolling for the most part and went right to sitting as well. She was a late crawler and walker and ended up scooting as her primary mode of transportation.

    My DD only rolls when she's sleeping and I have never seen it but is also sitting up now.
