post partum pupps/steroids/babies vomiting

I'm taking a six day steroid pack after unsuccessfully managing post partum pupps on my own the past two weeks. They are making me slightly nauseous and now on day two both babies are throwing up with yellow. Both are ebf. Could it be the meds? I will call the pediatricians in the morning. I don't have anything saved up to give them in the meantime while I finish the pack...not to mention I REALLY don't want to introduce bottles yet bc they are not even three weeks. I have them both in bouncer chairs so they are upright for the night bc both were having trouble breathing while being sick and I'm terrified they will stop breathing. Of course my oldest DDs first bday party is tomorrow and there's definitely not going to be any sleep tonight :/

    If your pediatrician has a nurses line I would call tomorrow and ask. Have you googled to see if the med is safe for BFing? That would be where I start, I would definitely supplement with formula for a few days if your meds are making them sick. It's more important that you keep taking the meds and get better!

    I dealt with post partum PUPPPS, too. It's awful. I'm really sorry. Fortunately I didn't have to take oral steroids - the rash cleared up around 2-3 weeks on its own. I would definitely call the pediatrician. Did you confirm with your OB that the meds were safe for BFing?
