C wont keep these on! the weather is getting cold and she refuses to keep a hat on! i tried little boots today and she ripped them off...how am I supposed to keep her warm??
M is the same way. She did okay with summer hats that had velcro under the chin so I'm hoping that she warms up to the idea of winter hats. We haven't tried shoes yet, but she absolutely wants nothing to do with socks yet. Thankfully we've had pretty warm weather so far. It's going to start get colder here this week though... Good luck!
we tried shoes at 8 months and she hated them did them again recently and now she loves them... she likes to play with them as much as wear them. Sticking with soft soled leather bottom ones for a while to encourage her feet to continue to use the correct mechanisms for walking..
what about a jacket with a hood? maybe tights instead of socks?
I think as long as their core is warm, and they aren't complaining, it probably is OK to let them go without a hat unless it is like snowing or something. My plan is just to stick a jacket on LO. She will tolerate socks, but no way on the hat.
She'll tolerate the little leather baby shoes like Bobux or Robeez-- have you tried those? but she pretty much hates her mary jane shoes...
Re: hats and shoes
Tie he hands to her feet?
Super glue ? (as previously mentioned)
Seriously though, try putting mittens on her too? Not so easy to use your hands when you're only about 10-12 months and have mittens on.
