wow. I mean, it sucks that she died and all but security is pretty serious around the White House and ain't no messing with that. I have seen people all up in arms about them "shooting to kill" but that is how it goes when it comes to the PUSA's security. I mean, how do people not know this?

I think she was just overall cray. She just happened to have a baby at one point so they could tack on Postpartum on top of that.

i am confused why the child is in foster care, why not returned to immediate family (sisters, boyfriend??)

If there was some sort of custody battle pending then depending on the state laws, I think the state can take the child until it determines the best course of action. Sad. I've heard about that happening here.

It's pretty standard to put the child in state custody for the time being (DH is LEO). I'm sure she will be released to family soon. Poor baby

I know. The kids are always the victims. Guy down the road from us shot his wife then himself a couple weeks ago with both of their kids home. I just can't imagine what those babies are going through.

Thanks @cousinvicki, I've been wanting to discuss this, but kept forgetting to bring it up. I think it is horrible she had her child in the car. I haven't heard if they ever figured out what she was doing, but I thought they have been saying she had no actual weapon in the car.

This also makes me think about that guy who opened fire on an officer in Oregon after being pulled for speeding and then raced off only for the police to find him dead ( I am assuming he shot himself) a half mile down the road. His 3 kids were in the backseat of the car the whole time. I can't even imagine the trauma for those kids.
