I posted this on another board but re-posting here to get some additional feeback.
I am going back and forth between the Beco Gemini and Ergo. I haven't tried the Beco,
but I tried the Ergo (front carry) with my 5 month old LO and it seemed comfortable for the
short time I wore her. The Ergo doesn't accommodate the baby facing
out, where the Beco does. Anyone have any experience with the Beco?
How long were you able to face your baby out (age in
months/weigh/height)? Looking for any recommendations/feedback on these
two carriers.
Thanks in advance!!

It's not the ideal position but she is probably in it only a couple hours a week when we go out.

Legs spread wide with knees above or at least even with the hips is the correct position for baby to be in when they are being worn. Legs dangling down (like in a bjorn) is not ergonomically correct and cause issues with hip and pelvic development. https://www.hipdysplasia.org/developmental-dysplasia-of-the-hip/prevention/baby-carriers-seats-and-other-equipment/
You can't do that with the ergo.
