Intro - Tommy's story (from F14 board)

Yesterday I was walking to the train from work when I was pushed from behind. I fell face forward. I called dh and we went to hospital. In the er waiting area my water broke. We were crying, we knew what it meant at 19/20 weeks. I was admitted. The u/s showed hb but no fluid. the doctor was very candid about the risks and rewards. I wasn't going to let Tommy suffer. I was given inducer meds and dh and I waited along with mom and our priest. At 1:25pm Thomas Andrew was born asleep. Dad cut the cord and I held him. He was beautiful in every way. Our priest baptized him and we will bury him next to his namesake grandfather. The hospital gave us a box of beaitiful keepsakes. The nurses and docs couldn't have been better. ***
That was Monday into Tuesday. I got home yesterday. We are going to take a tripnext month to San Diego to try and make a fresh break. Tommy will be with us always.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Tommy. None of us want to be here and none of us ever want to welcome new members to this terrible club, but welcome.
The women here are a great support. Here you can talk about your baby (we all love to talk about our babies), cry, laugh, vent, whatever you need.

BFP#1 - 11/27/09 EDD 8/5/10, DS1 arrived 7/24/10 via emergency c-section.
BFP#2 - 6/18/12 EDD 2/23/13, sweet baby girl born sleeping on 10/4/12 at 19 weeks, 3 days.

October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks. Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!
