I think the better question would be what kind DIDN'T I use... I'm pretty sure I used them all.
This! My first BFP came on a wondfo, and I immediately dipped an FRER. Then a few days later I used a digi. I think I tested everyday for the first five days.

This time it was a First Response line test...but I had been taking the Wondfo dip tests for 4 or 5 days - getting BFN's on all of them. But as it turns out, I wasn't waiting long enough to read the wondfo tests, they take about 5 minutes for the second line to show up, especially early on and I threw them all away after a couple of minutes. I looked through the trash, found the old tests and they were all positive.

I never got a positive on a Wondfo...maybe I just didn't wait long enough?
I used cheapies A LOT, but when I tested, since it was a "break" cycle I didn't have any left! So it was a FRER....followed by beta's and 5 days of digitals....yes, a blood test wasn't enough for me. Lol
I think the better question would be what kind DIDN'T I use... I'm pretty sure I used them all.
I guess to be specific, what was your FIRST bfp on?
Like I said above, I took the Wondfo tests, but didn't know I'd had a BFP until the FR and I eventually took a CBE digital just for kicks But I still count the FR as the "real" one.

I got a positive on a digital before I got a very faint positive on a Wondfo. I think I had a bad batch, though.
Kind of unrelated, but I saw a commercial the other day for a new pregnancy test (I think it was Clearblue or First Response) which will not only tell you P/not P but estimate how far along you are! Pretty sure that did not exsist four months ago!

Not in this country, but they've been around elsewhere for a long time! I saw them recently at Target...it's interesting, but I'm curious about how well they really work.
We were trying to conceive, so I bought a big batch of Wondfo ovulation tests and pregnancy tests on Amazon. The first BFP came about 12 dpo on a Wondfo.
I was in shock, so I took everything. Dollar Store to start, then Clear Blue Easy, then EPT, & then whenever I'd get nervous I'd break out my Wondfos for reassurance.
Wondfo & FRER. I was completely in shock when I saw the line on the Wondfo and knew there had been some false positives going around with a bad batch of tests. As soon as I dipped the frer it turned positive!
I have to add in there that this was evening pee after 3 beers...I thought I was like 8-10dpo, but I'm assuming it was earlier since it turned positive so quickly and baby is measuring ahead a bit.
I used the cheapest test from Walmart. I actually bought a two pack a month before BFP (false alarm). Then I lost the box and the wrapper started opening, so I threw it on a dresser in my attic bedroom. It got knocked behind and forgotten about, the room heated up to well above 100°, so when I actually used the second test and got a BFP, I thought it was faulty. Planned Parenthood confirmed the pregnancy lol

I only took one test. In my life. DH was convinced I was pregnant, but I wasn't as certain. I told him if we're going to make the trip to Walgreens to buy a test, I didn't want to fuck around with lines and plus signs. I wanted a digital YES or NO. So that's what we got.
It said YES+ (why the +? I don't have a clue). I was shocked... I left it on the bathroom counter for days. I didn't test again because I figured... YES+ is pretty darn clear!
All of them. I had my tubes tied, so I was dumbstruck. My husband kept saying "Why do you keep buying these things, you aren't going to get a LESS positive result"

Yikes, seriously? I was planning on getting my tubes tied after this one....I thought that would be like 100% effective.

I used all of the tests mentioned. My first test was a FRER, blood test the next day, then I tested at least once a day (including 2 more betas) until my first ultrasound at 5w6d.

Only abstinence is 100%
Meg speaks the truth! Everything else has some margin for error.

I'm from the UK & I used this test! Not really sure how it works to b fair as it said on mine I'd conceived 2-3 weeks before hand. After my 1st ultrasound it came to light I would of ovulated 2weeks pretty much exactly from when I took the test!
I only used it really for the digital pregnant/not pregnant display as I find it easier than reading lines. Not really sure what the exact advantage of a conception indicator is really!

haha well I guess with 2 toddlers and a newborn, that will be a likely option

I tried every type under the sun and all of them gave me a negative.
I missed 2 periods and KNEW I was pregnant but even the test at my OB said negative. I was so frustrated and then my doc said that he wanted to run tests because he felt I had some serious medical problem that was causing me to miss my periods. He was POSITIVE I was not pregnant.
He ordered an ultrasound to look at my ovaries and the nurse tech was like "I know why you're missing your periods and are so sick .... you are pregnant. 11 weeks along."
I was so fed up with people telling me I didn't know my own body and that if the tests say negative then I'm NOT pregnant. I didn't get a positive test until I was 12w2d.
Sorry it was long - I have a lot of pent up aggression towards HPT
