Aching Muscles

I have always thought of myself as rather physically fit. I never worked out much but was always able to move and never had any serious medical issues.

After DS hit about six weeks I began to develop a lot of knee pain and soreness in my legs when kneeling or getting up from a kneel or seated position. I am 30 but feel like a creaky 60 year old!

Has anyone else experienced this and can anything be done? Is this just a result of using these muscles more than I was used to? Part of me wonders if it could be some symptom of dehydration (I'm bfing) but I don't think I have any other symptoms of that.

TIA!

I have the same issue. It hurts to squat, kneel, run,... I am also 30 and feeling way older. Don't think it is dehydration because I drink a ton of water (also bf). I am thinking it may be from the changes in hormones, but I real don't know.

  • Thanks! Taking a look now. Who knew pregnancy could leave such a lasting mark on our bodies. Fingers crossed things get back to normal soon.
  • Yep, DD is 11 weeks and I still have knee pain. I really want to work out but I don't want to end up injuring myself because my knees aren't stable yet.

  • Having the same problem here.  I also have diastasis recti that didn't close up like it does for the vast majority of women.   :((  It's causing me a decent amount of back pain and seriously side-tracking my running.
