Are any of you giving them peanut butter yet? My pedi said to wait, but now I'm reading that things have flipped the other way, that they're finding that waiting is not only unnecessary, but may even encourage the allergy. Neither myself nor my husband had any food allergies. I was thinking of giving her a little peanut butter on toast on a weekend when I can watch her. Thoughts?

We did it about 10 months, but had a reaction to it, so no more for us. We've switched to sunbutter, which is a good nutfree substitute, just in case you decide you want to wait, but want the good proteins and fats that come from nut/seed spreads.
BTW, I love the siggy pic with your DH and LO. Very sweet and so beautiful!
ETA: No food allergies on either side either, so who know where his food allergy comes from!
