My LO is almost 4 weeks old. She slept maybe 90 minutes in total on Thursday. She wasn't fussy, gassy, or anything. I tried the 5 S's. No success. Now that it is nighttime (though practically morning), she STILL won't sleep. She slept for a little less than 2 hours at the start of the night. But since then she has woken up every 30 minutes or so. She just won't sleep! I have a white noise machine going that usually works like a charm. Our room is dark. She is swaddled. The temperature is the same as always.
Literally nothing has changed. I'm a single mom. I'm exhausted. I'm losing my patience. I have no idea what to do.
Please help.
Re: 4 week old not sleeping
I never did the head jiggling thing, but fast speed, white noise, swaddled with dark room and paci seemed to do the trick. I am having a sleep deprived morning (plus toddler) so I feel your pain, GL!
