While you were pregnant with LO (not now, after you have fallen in love with your LO and his/her name), if you SO had absolutely no say in name choice, what would your child's name be?

Kellen would have been Everett (Rhett for short). I still love that name, but it is completely out of the question for MH.

I always wanted a little girl named Auriane or Alora, from my favorite book and a movie I love. For a little boy I have always wanted Ian, MH said no way.

Oh and I love Regan for a girl's name!

Probably Clara Joy. I like(d) Hope better than Joy, but Clara better than Emily, and didn't think Hope went with Clara as well. I'm actually glad that I let MH pick because Hope means so much to me... I can imagine Emily as a Clara, but I can't imagine her without the "Hope."

Lucky! Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the name we chose (Kellen Thomas), but man did it take a while to get there. I probably suggested over 200 names just to have them bashed immediately and usually laughed at. MH had 2 names he was determined to use and was close minded to anything else. It took a pretty traumatic labor and delivery in order for him to compromise. Haha.

Actually I got to choose emery. He had no say. Normally I would run a name by him and he would say no it reminds me of so and so. This was the first one he didn't have an association with. So that was it. I didn't even ask I just announced that was her name.

However if she was a boy it would have been different. He is very opinionated with boy names.

We both agreed on Emma (although we also had Emily on the list). Middle name options were Celeste, Claire, and Sophia. DH picked Celeste. I probably would have picked either of the other options since they sounded better with Emma but ultimately I agreed with DH that Celeste was more unique.

Liam was my choice. DH was not a fan, but it grew on him. I also liked Landon but DH vetoed it.

Henry was the only one that we liked...so even in the 5 hours that it took to formally decide on his name its the only one we both agreed on so...yeah.

I'm with you on the 2nd boy thing. If we have another boy, we will be in so much trouble finding a name! The only other name we both liked was Callen, and we can't very well have Kellen and Callen! Haha. It will be a nightmare.

Even finding a girls name will be a nightmare I feel. I have one name I am just in love with (Demi) and I am secretly fueling MH's infatuation with Demi Lovato so that maybe we can use that name if/when we ever have a girl. As of right now 2 of the very few girl names he likes are Hayden (Hayden Panettiere) and Scarlet (Scarlet Johansen). Men...

My husband and I agreed on the boy name but if we had a girl, I wanted to name her Campbell and he thought that was awful. Crazy man.

Most of you see my last name on FB, it is pronounced "curly"...not the way you think it would be said based on the spelling. I thought Campbell Curly sounded cute... he didn't. Oh well, we have a boy so it never mattered!

He wanted the name Caleb since he was a little boy, and then Hayden was the close second. He pushed Caleb so hard I *almost* gave in. It's not that I hate those names, they just weren't what I wanted for my son at all. MH is often too opinionated about too much stuff for my liking....haha

I really liked Eli, but neither of us could get behind Elijah as a full name. I also liked Elliot, but I'm glad we didn't go with that because I've been seeing it on a lot of girls lately. A few girls names I loved Hazel and Isla. He didn't like either, but I'm keeping them on my list for round 2 if we ever have a girl.

" Eleanor" picked us... I had always thought I would name a little girl Avery... Since I was like, 6 and Murphy Brown named her son Avery. I still love it... I just hate how popular its become.

However, my first choice for a boy was Whitaker. Bert dropped the hammer on that one. If you ask me, its still a contender.

We both loved Caleb Michael (H is Michael). Caleb's name was picked before he was conceived lol

Hunter was a big compromise for us both. H wanted Calvin. I wanted Noah, Emmett or Ethan. I just threw Hunter out there and it grew on us. Hunter is Hunter Lee (lee is my Hs middle name). I wanted David as the middle name so we let Caleb pick and he picked Hunter Lee. Between his name and love of music, he's destined to be a country star

DH had nothing to do with LO's name. He threw out like two suggestions and then handed the decision over to me. Woohoo!

Hayden would have been Grayson or Jonas.
Every time I say or think of the name Jonas, I hear the Weezer song in my head. It's one of my favorites.

Oh wow! Before this week I had NEVER heard the name Hadley. Now I've heard it twice.
One of my mom's employees is naming her baby girl Hadley and calling her Haddy for short.

Lilah Maria would have been Lilah Bliss. Bliss was my grandmother Lila's last name and I always loved that combo.

if I had a by he would have been Peter Vincent, but David has a cousin Peter so nope
