Can you recommend your noise machine? We've been using our bathroom fan but she's in her own room now and our battery operated noise machine keeps dying. Please let me know what you use or have used that works well. Thanks!!
We use the sleep sheep. I'm not even sure DD needs it to go to bed anymore but we still turn on the ocean noise every night. We have only replaced the batteries about 3 times since DD was born.
We have the Homedics Sound Spa in both kid's rooms. No complaints.
We have this one and still use it every night.
Here too.

We have a white cheap one from Walmart, we use it every night and at nap time when she is here at home. We have taken it on a cruise, out of town and couldn't be happier. #nevergonnagiveitup

Thank you everyone! I thought about using a fan but her room gets really cold in the winter and we won't be able to use it. We are also never going to give it up because the dogs sometimes bark at night and the white noise helps keep her sleeping.
I just have a fan running at night. It's an incredibly crappy fan that doesn't do much good for cooling anything down, lol, so it's right at home just making noise. Depending how you place it and what the vents in the room are like, a fan might actually help circulate warm air in the winter--something to try, maybe
We have the Homedics, a fan, and the Sleep Sheep, but none of it was drowning out as much as we wanted it to. So we dug out our ancient iPod, downloaded a waterfall track, and hooked it up to some old speakers. It's easily transportable, and we can turn the volume up as loud as we like.
We have the mybaby sound spa by homedics and the sound still works fine, but the projection stopped working about two weeks ago. I haven't contacted them yet so I don't know how their customer service is and if they'll replace it:/
I can't remember the brand of mine and it's in her room where she's asleep. It's in the baby section at Target and has sound, songs and projection. I don't even know if she needs it but we still use it to drown out the noise we make while she sleeps.

That is the one I have in James' room. The projector isn't used much but it started clicking really loud after about a year, sometimes it won't work at all. A lot of people that reviewed it on Amazon had that same problem. We have used the sound for every night and every nap for almost 3 years. I got the Munchkin one with the projector for Leo's room. It works good too, no problems with the projector (again we don't use it much though). My complaint with it is that the nightlight button is always lit up so I have to keep a blanket on top of it. The good thing about that light though is it is bright enough for me to find his paci if he wakes in the middle of the night.

I bought an app called Rainy Mood. It's on my iPhone that I used in Japan so he doesn't require the use of my current phone. It plays rain sounds and can also play your iTunes music along with it. The great thing about it is that it's portable which was very handy when he was younger.

This is the one we use. The settings are all pretty good, but the ocean one is the best. Now that she is used to it, she sleeps like a rock and it's so loud we dont have to worry about anything waking her up.
