Hi ladies,
I usually lurk on the 9-12 board but now that I found this board I hope to be a regular.
My LO is 10 months old...I know I need a siggy
What else? I'm a FTM, I am also SHM!
So, I'd u don't mind, I have a question. My LO has been having nap issues. I think part of it has to do with the fact that he is starting to learn how to walk. He usually goes to be at 7:30. 7 on bad nap days. He always sleeps till 6:30, 7 am if I'm lucky ( mama likes her sleep) his first nap used to be 9 but now is 9:30. He wakes up at 11 religiously. Here is the problem, sometimes his am nap has been 2 + hours long and then he won't nap in the afternoon. And if he does its for 20 min. He is sleep train. I have noticed he gets tired around 1 or 1:30 but I don't lay him down because he usually stay up longer. So here is my question, am I being stubborn, and I should lay him down at 1 even though its only been 2 hours of wake time? Is it normal for him to go back to sleep so soon?
Thanks for any input

Re: Hello! New here
It seems that some of our babies have been transitioning to different nap schedules. I know my DS is really iffy about his 2nd nap of the day. I try to do the 2, 3, 4 schedule to help keep his naps in some kind of routine. His second nap is always short, maybe 30-45 minutes.
Some days I have to just watch for his cues. Sometimes when he is teething or had a bad night or bad naps he gets tired quickly during the day. If he is tired I don't think I would force him to stay awake. That only ends up in horrible melt downs in my house!
I would also just let him nap when he's ready. As long as his bedtime/nighttime isn't effected.
And Welcome!
