Baby food question

Not on here much anymore, but since you all were such a fabulous resource while pregnant I thought I may bounce a question off of you all

We have started introducing some solid foods to my little girl and she loves it. Even from the first time we fed her she grabbed the spoon and started feeding herself. I have been doing all homemade baby food thus far but would like some input on store bought foods. What are the best brands out there for organic baby food? What do you look for in picking one? There are just certain times that it would be nice to have something convenient (like tonight when the whole family is going out to a restaurant for dinner). Thanks for any input!

Re: Baby food question

  • You can try finger foods for convenience, especially since she's feeding herself already. We do BLW with DS, so he started with finger foods. It's nice to sit down all together, and not have to "feed" him. We all just eat together. When we're out, we'll just give him something appropriate off our plate.

  • I grab Earths Best I think it's called whenever it's on sale just so I have something on hand. I don't like the taste of the store bought ones, but it doesn't seem to bother him much
  • The Ella's organic kitchen stuff is good or happy baby. Target has a sale this week on their organic baby foods.
  • Ella's!
