Speaking of telling family

I need some advice on how/when to tell the in laws. This will be my in laws first grandchild so I would think that they will be excited. H told his dad that we were dealing with IF and had a loss so he knows that we want a baby. My worry is that when we tell them MIL will post about it on FB and tell everyone before we are able to share our news. MIL doesn't like me that much and I can just see her saying something just to spite me.

H wants to tell them sooner than the 13 week mark when I would be comfortable telling them for fear of MIL telling and then me losing this baby. What would you do? Tell them when H wants to and hope they listen to our "rules" about telling or just wait until 13 weeks when I would feel comfortable telling everyone?

FB certainly complicates breaking the news to family or friends, suddenly everyone could know you are expecting! We just told parents and siblings last night that we are expecting our first baby, still very early but this is first grand baby and we were anxious to share the news!
We specifically asked each family not to spread the news or post on FB until we were ready for everyone else to know, and they were all very understanding. Hopefully this could work for you too!
