Its a BOY! Due Date change too!

It's a boy! I am so happy :-) I would have been happy with either way of course but its going to be fun to have one of each to start with (we want a bunch of kids). My due date was March 3rd when they dated me in the beginning. I thought it was wrong, but who am I to correct a doctor. Well, today the ultrasound doctor said I am really due 2/20! Almost 2 weeks off! He was surprised my Dr was so off - DH overheard him talking to the nurses about that he didn't tell us that directly.

So go team blue!!!

Yay! A boyyyyy! I am having a boy too. You have the perfect situation - one of each!!! That's what I hope for my future so then for the future babes (we also want a bunch) the gender pressure is off. I am so thrilled for you! Also, I think it's so fun hearing the dates are ahead! I wonder if the doc will say anything. Glad you are sticking around with us though.

Congrats on your boy!!!! My Dr told me they'll give a new date at my AS but to not go by that....to go by the original regardless.

Congrats on the boy! I'm hoping the NT scan guess of boy is correct (we find out on Tuesday). I also wonder if I'll measure a bit ahead, as at every ultrasound I've had he's measured ahead. We'll see.

The ultrasound Dr said that is what they typically do but since my son is so much farther developed they felt it had to change. I cannot go into labor, I will need a c/s before my due date. Since I conceived within the first 12 months after my c/s with DD they don't want to risk my placenta detaching during a contraction. Its super rare but don't wanna risk it.

Also this would have been my due date had my Dr listened to me. I as charting and know when I 'O'ed plus this new date matched me LMP too to I really feel its the right date.

But you're totally right that you usually ignore the 'new' date at an ultrasound
