What does Baby Bargains 2013 say about...

Cheap convertible car seats? Specifically about the Cosco apt 40rf and evenflo tribute? I need a car seat at my ILs' for a week only. My baby bargains is from 2011 and lists different models. TIA!

    Not sure about Baby Bargains but the Apt is a highly recommended seat on the Car Seats for Littles Facebook page which is run by a group of certified techs.  I don't think the Tribute is as recommended very often but I definitely remember reading about the Apt.  If you have Facebook, that group is a great resource when it comes to car seats and finding techs to help you learn to install seats, etc.

    I would take advice from Car Seats for the Littles over Baby Bargains any day.  The FB page is full of car seat safety technicians and other knowledgable people.

    Those are both great economy seats.

    To answer your question...Baby Bargains suggests the Cosco Scenera for a "decent no-frills" car seat. It's just $40. Another recommendation is the Evenflo Titan Elite which has more padding but is $100.
